Great giveaway! Sounds inspirational for sure.

I love the verse Psalm 51:10 "Create in me a pure heart O God, and renew a right spirit within me".

I pray that for myself daily....cause I need it!

I just read Tiny the gerbil is still in the freezer....when's the burial scheduled? Poor guy!

I would like to enter the giveaway too! Here is a verse that I have been focusing on lately...Psalm 1:1-3 Happy are those who dont listen to the wicked, who dont go where sinners go, who dont do what evil people do. They love the Lord's teachings, and they think about those teachings day and night. They are strong, like a tree planted by a river. the tree produces fruit in season, and it's leaves dont die. Everything they do will succeed.

My verse I read everyday is Luke 16:10
If your are faithful in the little things, you will be faithful in the large ones. But if you are dishonest in the little things, you won't be honest with greater responsibilities. As a christian sales rep this starts my day!

Each day is a trial - some good, some bad, but I know that I am safe.

Psalms 23:4 Though I walk through the valley of the shadows of death, I fear not, for your rod and staff comfort me.

If I ever feel unhappy with someone, I try to remember I Corinthians 13, the ever popular "love" verses. Love never fails. There remains, faith, hope and love - but the greatest of these is love.

Bible verse that inspires me lately is Zephaniah 3:17, "The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing." I just need to rest in the promises of this verse. :)

But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.
1 Tim. 1:5

Hi Mimi, I've already forgotten how I found your blog. :) I have never seen that Bible, it looks inviting and I LOVE Bruce Wilkinson.

A teaser for my WFW, and the topic that's been on my heart...

You turn {things} around! Shall the potter be considered as equal with the clay, That what is made would say to its maker, "He did not make me"; Or what is formed say to him who formed it, "He has no understanding"?" Isaiah 29:16

Thanks for the note about your giveaway! Guess I'll give you my WFW verse - Be joyful in hope, patient in tribulation, faithful in prayer. Romans 12:12. Thanks for letting me enter!

A Bible verse that inspires me is
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or rude. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged. It is never glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
1 Corinthian 13:4-7

Oh how fun. I wish I could visit everyday but I can't I'll play along anyway. My verse this week is from Psalm 18 I had a hard time choosing one from this passage but here is the one I am working on. v29 "In your strength I can crush an army with my God I can scale any wall." I need God's strength right now and this reminded me that he is there even when I can't tell that he is. Thanks for offering this fun giveway.
Many Blessings,
Sherry

This looks like a wonderful giveaway. I have been inspired this past week by the thought that God knows me. He knows my thoughts before I think them! This verse inspires me, too. It is what I want my attitude to be.
Psalm 139 v17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!

A Bible verse that inspires me is Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

That verse as always kept me plugging away even in tough times.
